When we go out today on peace-keeping operations, seminars, conference, and workshops outside the shores of this country, the way the Nigerian Army personnel is revered, if I have to use that word is unbelievable and if you want to check out what I am saying go to Liberia, where without the Nigerian Army that country would have been a failed state. there wouldn’t have been any Liberia. Check out what is happening in Sierra Leone, the Nigerian Army led ECOMOG forces if you remember, it was when the Nigerian Army re-instated President Tidjan Kabbah after Major Paul Koroma staged a coup that United Nations decided because the situation has stabilized to move in and set up the United Nations. Military in Sierra-Leone because ECOMOG, which is essentially a Nigerian Army had stabilized the situations. Go there today and see how the country is thriving. those people are so appreciative of our sacrifices and like we keep saying it is not just the Nigerian Army that is taking that glory, it is every Nigerian. it is you, because you provided is all the equipment, the guns, the vehicles and logistics, we wouldn’t have gone especially now that we are not in charge of the treasury…
