(From Standard Times (Sierra Leone) – AAGM) Byline: Unissa Bangura In a view to assess projects sponsored by the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) and to ascertain the commission’s present standing with regards to its objectives, the Commissioner of NaCSA, Alhaji Kanja Sesay, over the weekend concluded an extensive tour of Bombali District, during which he launched a series of projects for the construction and rehabilitation of a number of community health centres and other facilities in the district. These projects, which are centered on the construction of health community centres and bridges, were launched in the Sella Limba chiefdom and Tambakha chiefdom respectively. The first project to be launched was a construction project at the Masankorie village section in the Sella Limba chiefdom. In her brief remarks the chairperson for the occasion, madam Theresa Saccoh welcomed the staff of NaCSA and acknowledged the hard work done on behalf of the people of Masankorie village. The PMC chairman for the project, Mr. Foday Kamara made a statement regarding the important position the health centre occupies in their community and others in nearby villages. The chairman further lauded the effort.
