UNICEF assures Sierra Leone’s Government of continued support

This disclosure was made by the UNICEF Representative to Sierra Leone Geert Cappeleare during discussions with the Commissioner and Senior Officials of NaCSA at their Charlotte Street office. The UNICEF Executive commended government through NaCSA, for the provision of education and health facilities especially in the rural areas. He said UNICEF is willing to support government in education and child survival to ensure that by 2015 every Sierra Leonean child will have accessed primary education…

The UNICEF Executive commended government through NaCSA, for the provision of education and health facilities especially in the rural areas. He said UNICEF is willing to support government in education and child survival to ensure that by 2015 every Sierra Leonean child will have accessed primary education. Cappeleare who has completed assignments in various parts of the Middle East, promised NaCSA Officials that during his stay in Sierra Leone, he will ensure that the Sierra Leonean child will access education, enjoy equality and protection rights through donor-funded programmes.
