The 22-year-old, who plays for English League Two side MK Dons, was named in coach Jebbor Sherington’s squad for Sunday’s Group Nine Nations Cup qualifier against Togo. But the Freetown-born midfielder, who grew up in London, did not respond to the call for the game in Lome. "The Leone Stars coach extended an invitation to Jarrett but he has refused to respond to the call-up," Sierra Leone FA official Abu Bakar Kabba told BBC Sport. "We’ll have to do without him as he is yet to make his debut for Sierra Leone. " This is the second time Jarrett has turned down an offer to play for the Leone Stars after failing to honour the previous qualifier against Benin in October. Jarrett’s snub compounds coach Sherington’s selection problems after injuries to foreign-based trio of Lamin Conteh, Kewullay Conteh and Benjamin Sesay. However, there is a boost for the Leone Stars as captain Mohamed Kallon returns to the squad after missing the game against Benin due to injury.
