Sierra Leone Trash Afghanistan 6-1

Sierra Leone opened scoring in the 20th minute through Alusine Turay but Afghanistan drew level in the 47th minute when Hafizullah Qadami’s solo effort went beyond the reach of goalkeeper Lansana Jalloh. Sierra Leone had the better of the exchanges in the second half to send Afghanistan into deep defence. The African team went ahead in the 51st minute through Amara Kamara before Mohamed Kabia increased the lead in the 60th minute through a free kick. Dwight Foray found the net in quick succession in the 76 and 86th minute before Sulaiman Kamara sealed Afghanistan’s fate in the 88th minute – much to the dismay of goalkeeper Shahsuddin Amiri.

My wife, Neneh , kept asking me what I was finding so funny. When I let her read the so-called interview, she almost puked with laughter. There is nothing so comical as the SLPP now trying to claim the superior high ground when the party just left power and left Sierra Leone in the terrible mess the country now finds herself,after being in power for 11 years during which they themselves cannot point to one single development they brought to the country. You know, it is high time we progressive Sierra Leoneans develop guile , bile and allergy to the mumbo-jumbo from these failed SLPP people.

APC: Three chapters merge in Texas

A community can achieve its best goals through unity, mutual understanding and cooperation. Three Texas chapters of the All People’s Congress (APC) ruling party have agreed to collect their limited resources and integrate mutual objectives for the good of Sierra Leone and APC members. This is an attempt to accelerate efforts to contribute to the socio-political and economic situation in Sierra Leone. On Friday, October 10, in Dallas, the three chapters of the cities of Houston, Austin and Dallas launched their first joint activity of what the chapter called “Welcome Back Party” to honor the Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation, Mr. Sheku Tejan Koroma. Koroma has been identified as the architect of the Dallas chapter during the time he wanted to explore his aims and aspirations of returning home to make contributions to the rebuilding of Sierra Leone.
