In an earlier press release SLAJ had stated that an intent to pervert the course of justice had been embarked upon by lawyer Kabbah Koroma on behalf of his client and with the connivance of some “crooked bailiffs and police personnel to illegally secure a summons and a warrant of arrest” for Stanley Bangura and Abdul Charles SLAJ chairperson and vice chair-north and Mohamed Kabba an active member. The deputy assistant master and registrar Shirley Coker reportedly complained to the consultant master and registrar Julai Mensah that some lawyers including Sulaiman Kabbah Koroma were in the habit of circumventing the procedure in securing summons the SLAJ press release states.
