The theme of this year’s convention was ‘’STUDENTS IN THE DIASPRA-A FCUS TWARDS NATINAL DEVELPMENT’’. More than 60 students flown from all over China attended the convention which was held in an atmosphere of friendliness openness and frankness. In his opening remarks the outgoing Vice President Mr Desmond A. K Conteh said that his executive in the discharge of their responsibility as representatives of the union were never silent on issues but had always spoken out through the appropriate channels to advance the caue of the union.
