Targeting particular sections of the nation for political marginalization is tantamount to igniting war. For uneven distribution of what is supposed to be for all APC is number one. The APC one party rule in Sierra Leone is no hidden fact the architect of the eleven year civil war. People will always remember that even the current President Ernest Koroma declared devilish the political administration of the APC one party rule whose oppression of democracy aggravated the war. It is ironical that President Koroma is now using all the tools that were used by the one partyAPC regime to oppress political opponents. Therefore Koroma and his APC will surely deny the people their freedom for which so much blood was shed. All political promises have proved futile and people have reverted to obsession and frustration.

The status quo specifically refers to a mining sector that has deeply profoundly and consistently failed to reach its full potential which has ultimately caused the good people of Sierra Leone to remain in abject poverty. GA_googleFillSlot( “AllAfrica_Story_Inset” );The Sierra Leone Mining Sector currently has a huge window of opportunity to reinvent itself to become an effective an efficient sector. The window of opportunity specifically refers to the fact that there is a relatively new government which has articulated the need for the sector to reform a new Minster of Mines and a growing sense of awareness by Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad. Abroad I would like to mention two individuals who have continued to work tirelessly to raise awareness and enlighten the good people of Sierra Leone about the mining sector.
