GA_googleFillSlot( “AllAfrica_Story_InsetA” );It could be recalled that the embattled business magnate was stripped off his naturalized Sierra Leonean citizenship and was told he would not be paid any money by the then President Kabbah. In what seemed a payback time shortly after Koroma took office in September 2007 Wanza’s Sierra Leonean citizenship was restored. In short order the Lebanese rogue orchestrated a phony court action against the Sierra Leone government in the ECWAS Court for human rights over the non-payment of his contract millions. The threat was apparently empty because the Court does not have the interest never mind the competence to adjudicate such matters. In short order and much to the detriment of the country’s economy the minister of information and communication Alhaji Ibrahim Ben Kargbo announced that the Wanza case posed such embarrassment to the government that it had to be settled out of court. Wanza was to be paid millions of dollars for delivering no service to Sierra Leone other than arms and other support to a bloodthirsty junta.
