According to Kamanda standards in education are falling in a country once considered as the Athens of West Africa citing latest statistics in the 2008 WASSCE results which indicate that only 3. 8% of students secured passes in General Maths and English Language respectively.

His Excellency Andrew Gbebay Bangali who also doubles as Sierra Leone’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa signed the two important instruments at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. When the treaties would have been ratified by government the rights and obligations of the agreements have to be legalized within the country. The purpose of ratification was to domesticate the legislations in accordance with the treaties.

National publicity secretary who is contesting the position of national chairman Mohamed Bangura confirmed that there were some members disgruntled by the performance of Bockarie during the electioneering period. He however stated that no formal complaint of misbehavior has reached the disciplinary committee charged with the responsibility of ensuring that there was law and order binding all party members. “I have called the regional body to get updates they told me things went on well expect for some few members who were disgruntled with what happened” he said.
